PDF Compressor
PDF Compressor shrinks a PDF in your browser until it fits the email or upload limit that waved the original away. Pick a level, download the leaner file, and send that one.

How to use it
- Open PDF Compressor and pick a PDF.
- Choose a level: Smaller, Balanced, or High quality.
- Compress, check the before and after sizes, then download the smaller PDF.
Good to know
- One action per PDF, charged only when the compressed file is actually smaller. If it does not shrink, no action is used.
- Pages are rebuilt as pictures, so text in the compressed copy is not selectable or searchable, and links and form fields do not carry over.
- Three levels: Smaller for strict size caps, Balanced for everyday sending, High quality for pages read closely or printed.
- Password-protected PDFs need to be unlocked first, then compressed.
Your data
Your files never leave your device. Compression happens in your browser.
Tips
- Send the compressed copy and keep the original as your editable master. Next month's edit will thank you.
- Still over the cap? Run the compressed copy through once more at the next level down.
Questions
Do my PDFs upload anywhere? +
No, compression is fully in your browser.
What if my PDF does not get smaller? +
Bum Bum says so, there is nothing to download, and no action is charged. Some PDFs are already lean.
